Â鶹Éç

As an admissions counselor, I get many questions as I travel and interact with students. These questions range from, “How is the food at the cafeteria?” to “What major should I choose?” Below I answer a few of the most commonly asked questions to help you start your Â鶹Éç Fox journey!

How do I apply?

Â鶹Éç Fox has two ways to apply for admission. One is our personal application, which can be found on our website. The other is through the . Using the Common Application can also be useful because you can apply to multiple schools at once. Both applications are free! Tests and essays are also optional on both; we focus primarily on your transcript from high school.

What majors does Fox have?

Is Â鶹Éç Fox a faith-based school?

Â鶹Éç Fox is a Christian university! Faith is woven into academics, activities and day-to-day life. You will be exposed to different traditions and practices and begin to make your faith your own. These traditions include weekly chapel, Life Groups (small Bible study groups) and many service opportunities.

We even host Serve Day, an annual day where we close campus to serve surrounding communities. We welcome students from all faith backgrounds and do not require you to sign a statement of faith. To learn more, watch about faith on campus!

Does Â鶹Éç Fox have an Honors Program?

Yes. Our honors program is a great books program that takes the place of some of our Cornerstone Core classes, which are our general education requirements. Honors students can expect to engage in discussions and Socratic seminars around topics of faith and philosophy.

The point of honors is to transform students through these classes, as well as equip them to be who God designed them to be. To learn more, watch these honors program videos: and .

How will my college credits transfer?

We accept most college credits that are above the 100 level, but we typically look at credits on an individual basis. We have a website called (Transfer Equivalency System) where you can look up the credits you have taken or plan to take. It will show the credit from the institution you took it from and its equivalent at Â鶹Éç Fox.

How do I send my transcript?

Transcripts can be sent in multiple ways:

  1. (preferred)
  2. (preferred)

Although using one of the services above is preferred, high school transcripts may also be emailed directly from the school to admissions@georgefox.edu or mailed to:
