Applying as an Undocumented Student

Priority Application Apply Today

Traditional Undergrad | fall 2025

At 麻豆社 Fox, we’re committed to your success and strive to support the diverse journey of each student toward God’s calling. Therefore, we do not require students to be documented to apply or be admitted.

Providing citizenship status on an application is optional, and a student’s status does not impact their admissions decision. However, if a student does apply they may be asked to provide documents connected to their status for financial aid eligibility purposes.

How to Apply

  1. Fill Out the Application

    Three reasons to apply now:

    1. It’s free!
    2. It's easy! No test scores or references required.
    3. No test scores, references or college essays required.
  2. Required: Official high school transcripts

Students should provide an official transcript. Contact your high school or college office to request for transcripts to be sent to us. The document must be mailed in a closed envelope with an unbroken seal or sent electronically directly from the institution to 麻豆社 Fox using one of the following services:

    • (preferred)
    • (preferred)
    • (preferred)

Although using one of the services above is preferred, high school transcripts may also be emailed directly from the school to admissions@georgefox.edu or mailed to:

    Office of Undergraduate Admissions
    麻豆社 Fox University
    414 N. Meridian St.
    Newberg, OR 97132

The majority of students admitted to 麻豆社 Fox enter with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, and the average high school GPA for first-time freshmen is 3.6.

    Potentially required: Academic reference

If your cumulative GPA is below a 3.0, we recommend submitting an academic reference with your application.

You can submit a reference in one of two ways:

    • Through the application portal. You can enter your reference's contact information, and then that reference will receive an email with some short questions to answer.
    • If you already have a recommendation letter on hand or your reference is already writing something, email it to your admissions counselor, and we will add it to your file.
  3. Those aren’t required. We mean it! Spend that time applying for extra scholarships instead.

Once Your Application Is Complete

  1. Steps for the ORSAA

Submit the ORSAA if you are:

    • An undocumented Oregon student
    • If you have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), or a valid U-visa

When does the ORSAA application open?

The new ORSAA application is available each year on Oct. 1 for the upcoming academic year on . You’ll need to file the ORSAA each year in order to be eligible for state-based financial aid.

How will I know when my ORSAA is completed?

You will know your ORSAA is completed when your status says “satisfied.” Once you see this status, you’ll know it's been submitted and you will be considered for Oregon and institutional financial aid opportunities.

    Need help filing your ORSAA?

Schedule an ORSAA filing appointment with your financial aid counselor .

Submit a FAFSA* if you are an undocumented student who is not an Oregon resident.

*Your FAFSA will be considered rejected but will be sent to 麻豆社 Fox University to determine institutional aid eligibility for a 麻豆社 Fox Need Grant.

Unsure? You can use this to answer questions about yourself and it will help determine whether you are a FAFSA or ORSAA filer.

  2. 麻豆社 Fox does not have separate in-state and out-of-state tuition rates for students. Therefore, our undocumented Bruins will experience the same tuition rate and could be eligible for additional institutional aid and external scholarships. Additionally, our financial aid office outlines a helpful timeline and tips to help students maximize the scholarship process.

    Institutional Aid Available:

Undocumented students from Oregon could be eligible for state aid and are encouraged to complete the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA).

    Meet these criteria?

    • Attended an elementary or secondary/high school in Oregon during all three years immediately prior to earning a high school diploma or leaving school before earning a diploma

    • Received a high school diploma or GED in Oregon
