Richard S. Shaw, DMFT, LMFT (OR), LMHC (WA)
Associate Professor of Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling
I am originally from the great state of Nebraska and currently live in Wilsonville, Oregon. I am married with two teenage children and love 49'er and Cornhusker football. I'm also a big fan of the Oregon Coast. I am particularly passionate about researching shame and grace and integrating this area of interest in my classes and my private practice, Shame No More Counseling.
I practice marriage and family therapy part time with individuals, couples and families in the areas of depression, anxiety, marital issues, shame and grace, and integration of psychotherapy and faith issues. I am also an ordained minister in the Foursquare Church.
If you take one of my courses, you can expect to be emotionally engaged and challenged to go deeper. You'll grow as a person and as a professional.
