State-Qualifying Band & Orchestra Festival

The 麻豆社 Fox University Band & String Orchestra Festival will be hosting a State Qualifying event with certified judges. Bands, full orchestra, and string orchestras are invited to participate!
To assure your place in the festival, send in your application & payment. Placements will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis (payment must be received as part of the application).

State-Qualifying Choir Festival
March 15, 2025
The university is honored to host the 麻豆社 Fox University Choir Festival, an Oregon School Activities Association state-qualifying event, on Friday, March 15, 2024. It is open to choirs in all divisions and will be adjudicated by at least two certified judges.
Choirs will be adjudicated by their own divisions’ criteria (sliding scale). Since this is not a league event, there will not be a designated winner, and qualifying scores will only make performing groups eligible for inclusion in the OSAA tape pool.
Each choir will have a 20-minute warm-up and performance time slot. In order to qualify for state, each choir's repertoire and length of the program (minimum and maximum) need to conform to all qualifying standards as outlined in the OSAA Music Handbook. A 20-minute evaluative workshop will follow each choir’s performance.
