I was nervous when I first set foot on Â鶹Éç Fox’s campus. My heart was beating hard, and my senses were overwhelmed with wave after wave of new information. I’m from Southern California, and I had never been to Â鶹Éç Fox before move-in day, not even to visit. I was 978 miles away from home, and I felt like a fish out of water.
Undergraduate
Sometimes a last-minute decision can be life-changing.As a senior at Douglas High School in 2015, Jesse Cetz didn’t initially plan to attend an information session on the Act Six scholarship. He’d heard about it the summer before but hadn’t given it much consideration – it was one of many he’d learned about when he was taking a summer college prep course from his high school counselor.
Faith
At college, you’ll find yourself in a new routine of life. You’re in a new place, surrounded by new faces and new opportunities. When I first got to college, I was nervous, excited and eager to start experiencing the world at this new stage in life. I was ready to take every opportunity I was given to really make the most of my college experience.
Academics
When Peter Tran was a cancer patient at Randall Children’s Hospital, he dreamed of one day returning to help kids just like him in their own battle with cancer. Today, the senior nursing major is doing just that.
Student Life
As students advance in their college careers, many assume it’s time to move off campus as upperclassmen. However, according to Emma, Emily, Tori, and Whitney – four seniors who’ve lived on campus as long as they’ve been at Fox – there are some benefits to living on campus for the duration of your college experience.
